I finished my first build and now I need a keyboard and mouse. There are so many options. I would like a hybrid mouse/keyboard that is specifically set up for gaming. The more it functions like a PS3 or Xbox controller the better. I really hate using the W,A,S,D, buttons to move so anything that makes this function easier is a plus. If possible I would like to keep it under $100.

Does anyone know if you can set up a PS3 controller to play games like minecraft, BF, etc? Thanks for the advise.

Why don't you just get an Xbox controller? They work really well on Windows and most of the games I've played has controller support.

That sounds great. I wasn't sure if one would work. Do you know if it will work with Minecraft? Thanks

Minecraft is one of the few games that doesn't natively support it, but there is a nice mod on ModDB that adds support.

Alternatively, you can use XPadder which works for any other games that might not have it.

This is some awesome info. Thank you for the input. I will look into this. I think it is all I will need.

Do you know if my computer will need bluetooth to work with the xbox controller or Xpadder?

Also I still need a keyboard and mouse any suggestions for a good value?

If you are using a wireless controller you will need one of these.

Otherwise you can just plug it in (a play and charge kit will not work).

This is the keyboard and mouse combo I'm using, but you can find cheaper if you don't want gaming accessories.

Your computer will probably need a bluetooth receiver if the controller has bluetooth.
