So as the title says, I would like to know what would be the better option/cheapest and most importantly safest way to improve my system.
My current Rig:

Asus 1920x1080 144hz 1ms monitor
i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz
12gb Ram
1 GTX 660ti Power edition from MSI (discontinued)
CX600 corsair psu
Acer Predator G3620 motherboard

Here's a link to the mobo, this was originally a prebuilt PC but I didn't know much at the time so now I am having the need to upgrade.

So what I would like to know is if it would be more cost efficient and safer weather to go with 2 GTX 660ti power editions (which I already have one and they are discontinued so I'll have to get them at ebay or somewhere else) or to just go with a 780.

I was originally planning on going SLI but I have heard very negative things from SLI users.

My current budget is of about $800 USD, which I will be using also to get a Carbide 500R case, new psu, Mobo if it would bottleneck the 780 or if I choose to go with SLI, and last but not least also to get a gpu.

P.S. My goal is to be able to record BF4 at a constant 60 fps, ultra settings with ShadowPlay.

I think a 780 would be better than a 660Ti SLI. If you are running one monitor I would say that 780. If you are running more than one then maybe the 660TI SLI. Also, you might want to look at a R9 290 or R9 280X as well.

I am sticking to one monitor at 1920x1080. Though I am not sure how much more expensive it'll come out to be if I go with the 780.

280X is just a rebranded 7970 though...

Thanks for the reply, it really clarified some of my thoughts. I have had some problems with this particular gpu and the fact that it has been discontinued is a bit fishy also. I guess I will go with a 780 but would it be worth it to SLI it afterwards (considering I still will use a single monitor)?
