Hello everybody!

I am looking to build a gaming/editing computer, I would like to know what parts I should get.

I am not a first time builder so I can build and am not a n00b!

I prefer intel to AMD
I also like nividia very much.

Thanks!

Do you want a complete build or are you just looking to upgrade some of your parts?

I favored the editing side but if you want more gpu horse power you can drop down to an i5 and get a 770 instead

i know you said you like nividia but the r9 280x is a good card and all of the components are nice and solid a have this rig for gaming/editing and it flys through them with no problem

and if you get rid of the mouse, keyboard, headset, and the wireless adapter it will bring it down to $1,349.13

Question- do you have to do a lot of stuff to liquid cooling? Never used it before.

Also, what are the advantages of an SSD? I skipped it on my first build because it was too expensive.

for the one he recommended no maintenance.
SSDs will make you computer boot faster and load programs that are on the ssd faster. Then for files use the harddrive

What nividia card would you use if you had to?
I also dont need a mouse, keyboard, wireless adapter, or an os.
Keep that in mind! Thank you for your opinion!
