I will be building a gaming PC soon but I have a few questions. I want to use a Bitfenix Prodigy M or Phenom M because I will be going to college in a year and I really don't need a lot of room to build. I'm still undecided between the Phenom M or Prodigy M, but they are basically identical so I'm not too concerned about that right now.

-Will a Hyper 212 EVO be fine, or will I need to go the water cooling route? I hear AIOs aren't as good as the EVO

-Can a fan be mounted in the front of the Prodigy M? I would like to mount a LED fan there for some color.

-Can the 5.25" bay be removed from the Phenom M?

-Would front/top intake and rear/bottom exhaust be good?

-Will this have some overclocking headroom?

Any feedback would be great, it is my first build and I would like to stay under $1000. I already have an SSD and HDD. I am already sure about most of these parts, besides the CPU cooler, RAM, power supply, and case. Also, is the 770 worth it over the 760? I am unwilling to go with AMD.

i would go this route personally, yours is good but this has arguably a better proc, storage, psu. as long as this motherboard has the features you want its perfectly fine as the xeon isnt overclockable but has the processing power similar to an i7.

Going with the Xeon is an interesting idea but I prefer to stick with the i5-4670K. I also already have drives for the system, which I am taking from my current computer.
