So, I recently built an ultra-budget gaming computer. It uses an A6 APU, which I did not realize loves high speed ram. I did not want to go through the hassle of returning it and buying expensive ram, so I started overclocking. I bought this ram-
http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT25664BA1339 from microcenter @$19.99 ea. With this ram, I slowly worked my way up. I was surprised as hell when I got to 2400Mhz. The timings are 12-13-12-32 so theyre pretty loose. Now note that in the 3D mark description it says my ram is 667MHZ- That's because my ram overclocks do not show in system specs. However- Note that my Video ram is 1200Mhz- that's because the APU shares memory with the system. (Also, I ran HCI memtest overnight with 100% stability) So, have any of you had results like this?
Also, it says the tesselation is edited, only because I had it set to AMD optimized in CCC
