Dark/dimmed corner on my monitor.

I just got an ASUS VG248QE and after a few hours of use the bottom left side of the screen dimmed from the rest of the screen. I don't think it's dead pixels and thought someone here could help.

That's definitely not something you can fix without taking it apart. The best thing to do is to RMA that monitor and let ASUS handle it. Defects happen to even the most reputable companies, it's unavoidable.
