I keep bsoding

I keep bsoding, i just built this pc 3 days ago specs are
i74770k
msi gtx 770
z87-g45 mobo
cosair vengence 16 gb
cosair cx750 psu
wd blue 1tb hdd
samsung 840 series 120gb ss

i read what my issue could be is the RAM, Drivers, CPU temps, or the PSU

the driver disk from my mobo wasnt running properly so i went to the website and got all of them and installed the ones it would let me (some would say i don't meet the requirements i'm not 100% sure why)

it does it whenever i try to install something, render something, scan something, or download multiple things.

doesnt do it when i game

i reseated both memory sticks and my heatsink and checked for airbubbles and reapplied thermal paste

I don't know what else to test this is my first pc build and i feel distraught and like a total failure because this keeps happening and i feel like i wasted money

most likely its a component that has arrived doa, try starting the computer without the gpu, then try different ram, then try a different psu etc. what is the process that happens with the bsod? ex. post, windows partially loads then bsod with code xxxxxx..?

I checked the device manager and it said it was all there and working properly but maybe i'll try that, and i dont have another psu to try out. it really only happens when i do something extensive like i said up there, downloading alot of things simultaneously, rendering videos, or installing programs

download a program called realtemp or check idle temps in your bios

whoa temps are pretty high 90 degrees Celsius and no it doesnt say that

ya thats not good

should idle 30-45 degrees

what cpu cooler are you using and did you mod it?

i would check the fittings and reinstall it and make sure the cooler is perfectly parallel with the cpu.

What could be the problem? Could the CPU itself be faulty? Or the fan perhaps?

its most likely the cpu cooler/fan not the cpu itself. if you can go and buy a new cpu cooler and your problems should be sorted. here is a highly recommended cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
