I have recently built the pc, the motherboard is an Asus z87-k. Okay so the problem I'm having is that the pc will not switch on, I have all the wires in the correct place, the green light comes on once i have enter the power cable, however I press the button to turn the pc on and nothing happens. Yes the fp1 and 2 are in the correct place, I don't know what the problem is. HELP!

The power supply is an M2 Silent Pro 620W, not sure what other specs you really need to know I have a intel core i5 processor and the case is a silenco 550

Remove the front panel wires from the motherboard and try starting the board by shorting with a screwdriver or similar the 2 pins corresponding to the power button.
If still the same, test the board outside the case. If still no go, I'd say that's either the power supply or the motherboard.
