So I recently purchased a motherboard(msi z87-g45), a psu(corsair 750w), and a mid-tower ATX case. Now when I plug my HDMI into my graphics card and power on my computer, the fans go crazy, like the top of their speed and everything appears to be up and running except my monitor displays a black screen, but it recognizes the signal. So I tried to plug it into my motherboard and then only my CPU and psu fans work, and my monitor displays the same black screen.

A simple solution that always works for me...

Open case.. Unplug RAM chips and clean them.. With piece of cotton. And thn use pencil eraser to clean the golden bottom edge of ram..

Try!

CPU power plug? I don't have one nor do I have anywhere to plug one in on my motherboard. My graphics card doesn't require power cables.
Here are my specs:
6Gb RAM
4th Gen Intel i3-4130 3.4 GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 645
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard
750w Corsair PSU
1TB Hard drive
Rosewill challenger ATX mid-tower case

The cpu is exactly the problem, tried sticking a 1155 in their and it only excepts 1150 Haswell, just bought a new processor. I went to check out my processor after the power was mentioned. So thanks for the help.
