hello tech gurus! i have an inquiry that needs to be answered please

here is my specs

1tb 7200 hd
a8 6600k (3.9 ghz)
8 gig gskill 2133mhz (4gig x2)
sapphire 1gig ddr5 hd6670
700 watt power supply

question!

I am planning to get the r9 280x as a GPU upgrade (replacing my hd6670)

will me system allow me to use the maximum potential of the card?

will my memory and /or processor be a bottleneck for the GPU i am planning to purchase?

i do not do overclocking
I believe that my current power supply (700 watts) will support this GPU, that is if my knowledge serves me right.

please do shed a light on this one please!

Cheers!

yes, your system will allow you to use the maximum potential of the new card. your memory is more than enough.
i just need to check if your PSU have enough amperage on the +12V rail. can you tell the exact name of your PSU?

also make sure that your case can hold this card ( the new card is +280mm length, compared to the old one 150mm)

measure it yourself, the VGA card room available, it should be more than 280mm.
you are welcome, good luck.
