good budget cpu

Hello,
So I have been thinking about building a PC from scratch, peripherals and all, for no more than $800-$900. Whats a good CPU in that mix, budget of course. I have been steering towards AMD because of price to performance advantages. What do you think

I agree with the 6300 but im not a big fan of the APU. You sacrifice an L3 cache and that can really hurt some games even if he does later get a dedicated graphics card. I would get a 6300 and decide how intense you need your graphics to be. For my last budget build I used a 6970 I got for 100 bucks on ebay and was well worth it. Now with the price of the 7870xt coming down I would pry grab one of those if you can find the right price
