Hey guys!

I have the Palit Jetstream GTX 670 and it rocks. My idle is somewhere between 36-38c and load never goes beyond 73c.

However recently, I just noticed that the fans sound way too loud than what they used to be eventhough they're only running between 40-60% speed. Also in gaming the max temp as per EVGA Precision and HWMonitor gets up to 85c!

Is this a good enough case to return my card to the store?

Well, have you recently checked for dust build up on those fans?

It still doesn't make it a good enough case to return the card, what sort of Case are you using? What is the airflow configuration of the case? and what are the other peripherals that have been put into the case which might hamper or facilitate Airflow?

Got it figured out. I had my Deepcool Ice Blade Pro positioned awkwardly which makes it dissipate heat towards the PCB of my card. Fixed it and now I get the usual idle of 38c and load gets from 75c. There will be times it gets up to 84c but it doesn't stay there.
