Will a FX-8120 work in this motherboard?

I had already ordered them, and realized it said Phenom and Athlon CPU's. I can send it back, but i'd prefer not to.

The 8120 is a socket AM3+ so it should be compatible

DONT get the 8120. Bulldozer is HORRIBLE. At the very least get the 8320. Which is MASSIVELY improved.

Adn yes it support either of those just fine.

your cpu has to be able to keep up...don't make that mistake...

No problem! The video card won't be as high as a R9 290X i'm only getting a HD 7870-HD 7950

Yes because it is an AM3 and the motherboard supports/is am3
