Hi!
I want to know what is the type of displayport on Asus P8Z77-V is it eDP or LVDS, because I want to connect three monitors using my iGPU intel hd 4000, and intel says that the built-in display must be an Embedded DisplayPort1 (eDP) not a LVDS.
My cpu is i5-3570k.

I found this: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/t/19492624.aspx

The one guy said:

1 To check if your computer's built-in display uses an embedded DisplayPort (eDP) or LVDS connector type:
From the Windows* desktop press Ctrl+Alt+F12 (My note here, this works if you have the Hotkey sequence enabled in the Intel Graphics and Media Control Center) key combination. If prompted select Advanced Mode application mode. Select Options and Support, Select Information Center, Change the System Information drop down to Built-in Display. Check the Connector Type field.

2 Built-in display uses connector types: eDP off the chipset or LVDS.

3 Built-in display uses eDP off a mobile processor.

I would imagine that you need to have a monitor hooked up a through DisplayPort to check this.

I didn' buy the motherboard yet, so I can't check if it's eDP or LVDS using your method, if someone using the same motherboard can confirm whether it's eDP or LVDS it would be much appreciated.
