I built a computer using the A10-5800k paired with the HD6670 video card I am also using a MSI motherboard (A85XMA-E35).

The problem I have discovered is that when I go into the device manger there is an other device there, that shows pci device and sm bus controller both have the yellow exclamation mark next to them.

I have tried updating the drivers through there to no avail. Problem is I don't even know where to begin looking for these particular drivers. I have checked the MSI site and that is not really helping.

I have updated my Motherboard to the latest version, which fixed a minor issue I was having. I have a video card installed and a wireless network card installed. I am not sure what pci device the device manager is calling out. Both the Video card and the Network card have up to date drivers.

Not sure where to go from here any help would be appreciated.

Thanks...

The SM Bus controller is the System Management Bus Controller
That deals with the Pci part of the computer.

Once you install a Sm bus driver it will go away.
An the reference to a Pci device.

Sm bus should be found or included in the chip set driver package for the board.
You may of had to tick a box to install the driver when the chip set installation started.
Some driver installs of chip set drivers leave it out.

So if you have an option to select the drivers manually instead of auto install do so.
Make sure it is check or ticked.

I already have the latest version of the BIOS(which I updated). When I go to the MSI site I see the download for the Chipset, but the version on the MSI site is 13.101.0.0 the version I currently have is 13.152.1.8000 which seems to me to be a later version. Not sure what to do here...
