hi guys ,

im building a gaming pc ,

now have i7 3770k no OC
nvidia gtx 670
6gb ram and a decent motherboard with zebronics aviator casing.

i have done enough research wrt liquid or air and what i have understood is if there is not much of OC'ing then no need of liquid cooling , hence ive gone with air cooling , and as i see the noctua d14 gets good views but looks wise it could have been better , the coolmaster v series like v8 looks good but some say its fine for cooling others say d14 is better than it.....

could someone please help me make a good choice as to which way i need to go ..

thanks guys

Solution
Well for no overclock they will all do the job and buying the Noctua for that would be a waste of money when a cheap CM hyper 212 EVO would give you more than adequate cooling and quiet operation.

oh ok cool thanks, ive seen in many posts that people replace the stock fan that comes with 212 EVO , is that necessary ?

usually what are the good fans if i want to replace em m8 ?

thanks

cool , some say that 212 is a loud one , so just incase , havin' an option aside.

Why would you waste money on a 3770k if you do not intend to overclock? You will want to go with 8gb of ram for proper dual channel. Old 1366 i7's used 6gb, but in triple channel. If you don't have the actual CPU just yet, get a Xeon E3 1230 v2 and save some $$$ to be used towards GPU.

well i might over clock it , just not yet , and im sure the cooling fans will also be proper either way with higher rpm..
