More about nvidia gtx 650ti boost 2gb amd radeon 7790 2gb
  1. The GTX650 ti boost is close in performance to the HD7850 2GB. So if they are the same price, then get the GTX650 ti Boost.
  2. If I'm not mistaken, the 650 Ti Boost is on par with a 7850, so the 7790 is a bit slower.

They trade blows I would say that you could go with whichever one was cheaper and be okay. I'd personally get the 7790 but given the price of the 7000 series cards right now probably a 7870xt

  5. Just took a look you can get a 7790 for 90 dollars which is cheaper then you would be able to get with the 650Ti Boost.

  6. I'd take the Radeon 7790 personally but the 650 TI Boost is no slouch either: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/776?vs=782

Pick one of these cards and i'll tell him which one to buy.

He is playing BF-4 on ultra and Call of duty ghost on Extra settings on 1080p 1366x786 resolution on a 32" normal 50-60 hrz screen.Unexpectedly the game play was very smooth on both games no lags i don't know why. With GT640??????? how.?

  12. Well I would say that he is probably able to play at somewhat decent settings because of the resolution that he is currently running at 1366x786 is a fairly low resolution 1080p would be 1920x1080.

    sorry my bad .
    1366x768 is normal resolution
when game starts monitor automatically converts to 60Hz 1080p
  14. I would double check the ingame settings just because the monitor defaults to 1080p doesn't mean the game will.
  15. I have a 7790 sitting here in its box, I can't recommend it as I've had nothing but grief with it.
