"To whom it may Concern"; I just got Call of Duty Ghost installed on my laptop and for some reason, it gives me this error every time the 1st mission starts; "Direct 3D Device: Present failed (Device Removed) DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (-2005270523)" I tried updating my DirectX but it did no good. This is my Laptop's Graphic Specs [Intel HD Graphics 4000]. I hope this is enough info for some good feedback. please help cos I have some promised Youtube subscribers angry @ me for the delays. God speed...

The problem is that the game is set up to run with any card, this means that you are letting Optimus tecnology (or it's equivalent for other dedicated cards) choose which card should it use, so when changing mission, watching a video of even starting playing, the Optimus shuts down one the video cards in order to use the other one, when this happens you see the error message. The solution is to force the usage of the Nvidia Card in the whole game, by doing this, the nvidia card won't stop working, so you won't see the error. Instructions for doing this, in the youtube video.

Hello guys! Here is the answer:
1) Perform a clean uninstall of all Nvidia drivers and softwares;
2) Uninstall Framework 4 or so;
3) Install only the latest Nvidia driver (certified of Beta, doesnt matter), and physics software. NOTHING MORE! Only the pure driver, and physics software, not all the other programes (you must perform a custom install of it).
4) Go into Nvidia Settings anf put the power managemet mode in: performance (instead of adaptive).

I think that exist a conflict between Nvidia programs and Microsoft Framework.

Hope you help!
