I just added a second 4GB stick of RAM, both DDR3 same speeds and it only shows up as 4GB RAM on Windows.
I am running;
AMD FX 4100
Radeon 6670
Asus M5A78L-M LX V2
2 4GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM sticks..

What should I do? How can i fix this? Its the RAM faulty?

windows 32 bit? if so, you need x64 to address more than 4 gigs of ram

You're running 64-bit right? Also, are the 2 sticks the same brand/timings?

A few things to try out - disable your onboard video - that might be taking up 4GB of RAM.

Go to MSCONFIG - Boot tab - Advanced options - Disable "Maximum memory" (make sure no check mark).

Try again.

Fixed it myself, seemed to be a loose connection on my motherboard.. had to press the RAM in weird positions to get it to click in, but its workin now so I can play CoD Ghosts Multiplayer! :)

Nice. You may still want to try out my suggestions. Good luck.
