Im adding a ASUS Xonar Essence STX sound card into my new build, Im new to high end sound... stuff, and would like use it for music, games etc.
so I'm guessing ill need some headphones too, what do you recommend?
I don't wont to spend too much money.
and are there any better sound cards for power, less money?

...and would I plug them into the back of the card its self or the standerd port at the front of the pc? (I saved money on my build and am trying to find some were else to spend it)

thank you :)

no they are more ballenced ie they try to keep the sound as true to the recordin as possible, this means whiel they dont have bad base per say, its might not be as emphaised as other headphoens however all the other parts a much clearer in addition you can clearly pick out other parts when using them

thanks for your help :)

Im looking at the senhisers hd280 and hd380 as there a bit cheaper.
are they still a good pick and make good use of the sound card?
lol i found some hd 598 for $100, im gesssing the higher the number the better?
