Can't install Windows 7

1-2 months ago I had blue screen of death on Windows 7 and I tried to reinstall it. But I had some weird error - http://i.imgur.com/SeJt3iZ.jpg
After that I tried to instal Windows XP and it works. Everything is fine but now I need some 7's functions that XP doesn't have...

How to solve this?

Installing from USB or DVD?
SATA set to to AHCI or IDE?
What motherboard?

It might be a Win 7 disk issue (try making a different bootable DVD and copy the Windows files on it). Try also leaving single RAM stick installed and testing.
