how to flash bios

Hi,I have an intel D845GVSR motherboard.I tried to flash it with P20 bios which is officially availabe at intel website but unfortunately updating of bios interupted.So when i switch on my pc it shows"Incompatible Processor detected which could damage your processor/desktop.Shutting down in 10 seconds".So help me how to flash it again or how to use a bootable cd for flashing.I tried in changing jumpers & tried using cds & pendrives but still the same message on startup and i m not able to acess any other options.Plz Help.

The single most important step in the bios flashing process is for it not to be interrupted , because the bios files can get corrupted or deleted. I belive your only option now is to have the bios chip replaced. Some manufacturers will make the bios chip removable so that you can purchase a new one and put it in yourself. Otherwise you may need to send it in to the manufacturer or take it to a repair shop and have them do it.

You should contact the Intel support or visit their support web page and see what they suggest as the best way to do this. I do not believe you will be able to load a bios file now or flash it in any way.
