At random times my computer will completely freeze for about 5 seconds. After it unfreezes, my cursor becomes majorly corrupt. At that point it will keep freezing until I restart the PC. Once back to the desktop, Windows says that a problem caused the computer to restart unexpectedly, or something to that effect, and then gives the location of 2 DMP files and 1 XML file. Sometimes after it unfreezes the screen will go black and then a message will be displayed saying the graphics driver has stopped working and has recovered itself. Again, that's sometimes. Below are my system specs.

OS - Windows 8
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE
GPU - Gigabyte GTX 550TI
MOBO - ASRock 970 Extreme3
RAM - 8GB
PSU - 600W

This is a fairly new computer (roughly 8 months old) which I built myself.
