8GB Dual-Channel or 12GB Single channel ?

hi guys i need to ask what the best choose for me dual channel or i get more memory

my spec :-
cpu = i5-3470
gpu= sapphire 7850 oc
mb=gigabyte p61a-d3 (only 2 ram slots )
current memory = g.skill 4gb 1333 mhz

first choose :-

my current ram+ g.skill 4gb 1333mhz = 8 Gb 1333mhz ( Dual Channel )

second choose :-

my current ram + 8gb 1333Mhz= 12GB 1333 (Single channel )

what the best choose

so 8GB unless you are using lots of memory. I'm running 16GB and only start to approach 8GB when I'm running BF3 and Dayz at the same time. (BF3 for fun Dayz on admin duties).

thanx to reply but my motherboard have two memory-slots only ?
