Is this ammount of cpu usage normal when playing this DX11 game ?

I have my core i5 750 overclocked @ 4.01 ghz , and while playing tom clancy blacklisted on highest settings , it is taking ''63'' cpu usage.

Is this normal ?

My friend on a regular quad core at stock value got only ''50'' cpu usage while playing this game.

Is this because i oc'ed my cpu ?

depends on your other components, higher end graphics cards = higher cpu usage. What exact cpu does your friend have? if its a more recent ivy bridge i5, then yeah, its more powerful per-core so usage is going to be lower. Also it has been previously tested that AMD video cards typically use more cpu power than their equivalent nvidia counterparts, due to drivers/hardware differences. Also screen resolution and in-game settings can affect cpu usage, and multiplayer can produce variable usage. between 50 and 63% thats not much difference, if it was like 40% and 90%, then i would say something is definitely up.

Her cpu is older than the core i5 and she got a decent old nvidia graphics card. I play a higher resolution than her(i play 1920x1080) and my core i5 is the 750 @ 4.01ghz and my graphics card is the gtx 570.
