Does anyone have any advice for the following situation:

Building a new system and I am pairing an ASUS A99X EVO R2.0 to FX8150.
RED CPU led comes on indicating an issue with the CPU. Upon doing some research, I have seen that these boards have issue with BIOS not recognizing 8150s or FX series (WTF right?).
I have already gotten a new 8150, I go to test it and I still get the RED CPU fault LED. ( Old one somehow ended up with a snapped PIN, major wtf. .. but still).
So CPU is not a problem, must be the BIOS update, should be. I go to do a FlashBIos update and no luck at all! Once the flashbios button is pressed, with the USB drive being in the correct slot, nothing happens. There are supposed to be flashbios LEDs that come on - nothing comes on even after a button is held for an extra amount of time, so I am not even able to flash the bios.

So here is a question, Have any of you flashed the bios before on that board? Is it normal for none of the biosflash indicator lights to come on when trying to use that method? I have tried to have the flash drive in both FAT32 and NTFS.

Unfortunately no other computer stores in the area have a spare AM3 CPU, none do that can even sell one on the cheap. If I cant find the solution by tomorrow evening, I will be forced to go and purchase one of the new 30$ AMD CPUs out of micro center and go even deeper in the hole on this build. Obviously there is no profit margin left but hey, this is business. Unfortunately this is the first build out of 100+ that I have had these types of issues or had to loose any money on :S

Are both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected and the PSU (not the PC) turned on?
The USB drive has to be formatted to FAT/FAT 32.
Connect it to the designated USB Flashback port (not all USB ports support Flashback).
Unzip and rename the file (check the manual for the name) then save it on the drive.

But, the FX 8150 is supported so no flashing needed.
Is the CPU fan spinning when starting the board (make sure that both 24 and 8 pin power cables are properly connected)?
