Need SLI advice please

I am planning on SLI'ing my system, I have currently:
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX2
CPU: i5 3570k @ 4.6Ghz
GPU: Palit GTX 670

I have researched if my motherboard can SLI but haven't found much and does anyone know if I can SLI a Palit GTX 670 with Palit GTX 670 Jetstream edition?

Your motherboard will allow SLI, -BUT- the second card will run at 4x, which is not recommended. And you can SLI two similar cards, both of them will just be downclocked to the slowest of the two.

I recommend either getting a new motherboard and SLIing, or just grab a stronger single card.

Where do you see that this motherboard supports SLI? The Asus website states that it supports Quad-GPU CrossFireX, but doesn't mention SLI like it does for other boards that support both.
