HI guys i was looking to find a Phenom II X4 960T, i was building a new budget rig for gaming and video rendering i have been looking at the cinebench results for the fx series cpu's and they aren't very impressive, should i get the four core and turn it into a six core then over clock to 4ghz at this speed they are slightly faster than a 8350 at 4ghz which is very impressive for a old generation cpu and will be almost half the price of a fx 8350. Also which dell computers did these cpu's come in so i can look for a old one to strip for the cpu.

Which results were you looking at? Were they bulldozer or piledriver FX?
Anyway there was a cinebench lawsuit where they put code in to benefit intels massively so dont trust those synthetic benchmarks.

Regardless, phenom wont be bad, perfectly good.
I did some googling and I couldn't find any dell's. You could always just buy the chip used and get it cheap anyway.
Sorry that I couldn't be of more help!

If you look for the oem cp with 960t, not from dell. You can find from HP. http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/HP-Pavilion-p7-1000-p7-1028-QN596AA-Desktop-Computer-Phenom-II-X4-960/6573752/product.html
