Hellooo,

I like to think I know somewhat about computer tech, but when it comes to Peripherals I know nothing. I am especially clueless about audio but I am currently in the market for some cheap gaming headphones. Im stuck between these 2 head phones but am pretty stuck when comparing specs. I see one has 57mm speakers and the other has 40 but supports 7.1 surround which is very appealing. Help me!!!!

specs are the same as sign except for the gpu which I replaced with an Asus matrix r9 280x platinum @1235/6480

I really wouldn't bother with 7.1 if you're looking for budget headphones, as it (usually) takes a bigger price tag from a more respected company (Corsair, Logitech, etc.) to make 7.1 good. I'd recommend the SteelSeries 3H if you want budget + function. If you're looking for a more comfort-oriented headset, get the Razer Kraken (Pro).
