Will the EVGA GTX770 lose much performance in PCI2.0X16 vs in a PCI3.0X16?

I know this question has been asked a lot, but most of the posts I found here refer to the old 600 series and PCI2.0/1.0.

1) Will there be much of a performance difference if I put a GTX770 in a PCI2.0 slot? My old 650ti didn't lose much performance because it couldn't take full advantage of the 3.0 bandwidth anyways. However, would the 770ti be bottlenecked by PCI 2.0, especially with the very high specs?

2) this is a general question, but what does the 500mb/s and 1gb/s PCI bandwidth refer to in terms of graphics cards (memory bandwidth maybe?)

My friend currently has the same set up. Don't worry about it. You won't see any viable bottlenecks.

The numbers are just for band width. No current GPU that I know of can fully saturate a PCIe 2.0 Slot. The bandwith doubles with every generation of PCIe.

I've got an AMD FX-8350. Previous Gen, but one of the higher tiers.

So what do the 500mb/s and 1gb/s PCI2.0 and PCI3.0 bandwidth numbers mean?
