I need to reactivate windows 7. I have my product key but can't enter it. I chatted with the MS answer desk. They verified my key, then turned on the sales pitches. Finally they want to charge for remote registration. Would calling be any different? I really don't want to pay for something I already own. Currently, I can't update, restore, backup, or shut down. Please help (without the snark.) Thanks!
