I apologize in advance as im not that clued up with networking issues lol, what i want to know is i have a pc which is using a PCI wireless card, im going to switch to ethernet and use homeplugs, would i need to completely uninstall my wireless card? or can i keep it installed and choose either method to connect to internet? thanks

You can use either, or even both simultaneously. Plenty of laptops (including mine) use both ethernet and WiFi at the same time.
