personally, i OC to increase game performance (while pairing with a decent gpu of course), but since 4ghz is enough for the games that i play, i lowered it down from 4.5, it was just too hot while not being utilized anyway.
Yes you should. Your vcore is too high. For ivy bridge - lower than 1.3 is recommended. Also temps below 70 are recommended if you wish to keep that chip for a longer time.

Going with 4.4 OC at 1.275 with High 60's-lower 70's under load. On a side note - in the original post it was 1.375 in Bios but HWmonitor showed less then 1.3v average if that makes a difference.
Well i trust whatever my bios says but to each his/her own.But,as for you're vcore yeah just keep it at no higher then 1.35v for 24-7 overclock and your good bud. 4.4 OC at 1.275 with High 60's is fine you're good enjoy!
