An external hard drive is set up as a shared media device connected to a TV. When I added my desktop computer as a shared device on the network and tried to access it from the TV I could access the media on my computer for a minute and then it all went dead. Now I can't access the external hard drive and when I look at it on my computer it shows up as a shared computer.
