I have an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard and 2x4GB G.Skill ram sticks, the ram is clocked at 1066mhz and i was wondering if there is a way to clock my ram at 1600mhz or ill even settle for 1333mhz. Help would be much appreciated!
Possible, possible, start with 1333 and 8-8-8-24, 2N or 2T for Command Rate/timings), DRAM voltage 1.55 and CPU/NB voltage 1.15 (and let me know, but to jump ahead, can try 1600 at 9-9-9-26, 2N or 2T, Dram voltage 1.6 and CPU/NB voltage 1.25

okay, im slightly new to this.. i learn fast though, so i should look for those settings in my bios? thank you for the help by the way.
1333 is DRAM frequency - should be showing 1066, the Command Rate or COmmand Timing is prob already at 2T or 2N, the base timings should be all together and showing as 7 7 7 21 or so, CPU/NB VOltage will be a little apart from the DRAM settings alonside other system voltages

i tried to do all that but i dont think it worked, its showing my memory frequency at 8xxmhz in cpuz, anyway to know for sure?
if showing 800 then you are at 1600, CPU-Z in the Memory page shows true freq, since this is DDR DOUBLE data rate - then you take true freq x 2 for effective - if you were still at 1066 it would show 533 - congrats looks like you did it
