Hi , I kinda got into black hole with Overclocking my card, so here are few questions that bother me :
1: core/memory clocks by default max are 725/1000. Now...when I turn on Afterburner, and put the same settings in it (only thing I changed was fan speeds to cool it like I wanted to) I'm getting a lot of glitches in the games. Like image "splitting", little green artifacts all over the screen... they go away after alt+tab but they come back. why? settings are the same basically?
2: when I actually tried overclocking, up to 825/1100 , of course I had to boost voltage a bit , and went 10 by 10 Mhz. Funny thing is, sometimes it works just perfectly, whole day for example... then after few hours when computer is turned off, everything goes kaboom again...artifacts and all that. I'm running latest drivers I could find.
games I tested it on were Crysis2 with dx11 and texture pack on ultra, far cry 3 , LoL ( that thing just keeps getting glitches no matter what I do ). Running on Windows 7 Ultimate.
Any tips how to get it to be stable and clocked?

I'm thinking power is wonky to your graphics card. It may be the motherboard, the PSU or the card's VRM acting up. I'll go with the card for now since your card is a few years old (makes it ancient), I'll suggest (if you are adventurous) replacing the thermal pads and compound on your graphics card. At a minimum, take it out and give it a good cleaning
Now for some standard questions which may help...
What motherboard?
What PSU?
What case and how is your airflow through the case?

Hi !
My motherboard is M4A87TD EVO
Processor is AMD Phenom 2 X6 1055T , 2,80 Ghz
Power supply, don't really know to be honest, I do know it's 850+
Case is Cooleramster , 3 intake and 2 out fans. colling of the card is not the prob, I just can't make it stable in OC.
Got it working today at 770/1045, at 1,188V. But I'm noticing voltage is dropping for 1 GPU after I play something and I have to set it again in Afterburner. On the other GPU voltage is fine. Found the answer to that problem few weeks ago, something about changing settings for unofficial overclocking... but then options for overclocking don't work at all, can't change them. Any ideas?
