I have an i7 2600k
when i'm stress testing it with Intel burn test all 4 cores temperatures jumps to 80 isntanteniously and it goes all the way to 92-95.
I have it overclocket to 4500 mhz. And here is the thing - i have an aftermarket cpu cooler Phanteks ph-tc14pe and it is running at highest speed. I'm using the termel paste that came with it. Witch was a little solid(cant say it was in liquid state) but i cuold aply it.
I saw some reviews with overclocking resoults for 4900 mhz. all cores were running under 75. They were using a Scythe Kama Angle rev.B as their cooler.
Why are my temps so crazy??? I should have even better temps with my cooler then those guys.

some Specs:
Haf 912 with 3 200 mm coolers.
Asrock z77 extr. 4
.
I use coretemp. s[eedfan. real temp. asrock utility. They all show the same temps.
temperature in my room is around 22 C

Thank you for any help!

maybe you have your thermal paste too thick? try to re-apply it, then re-seat the cooler

clean your cpu and cooler with isopropyl alcohol reapply thermal paste like arctic silver 5 or arctic cooling MX-4 reseat your cooler and you should be fine. most common issue of bad cooling from aftermarket coolers that should do better are bad mounts and or to much thermal paste.
I had the same issue with my h80i. I used the thermal paste that came pre applied first and didn't use any washers on the backplate I mounted it quickly and I was getting tems like 75 degrees C at stock on full load which is too hot for a i7-2600k and this cooler, after I reseated it installed washers and applied some arctic cooling MX-4 after cleaning the old goo off first ofcourse I am now getting temps at 50 degrees celcius on full load.

the arctic silver 5 works good. the temps are going to 80 at max load at x47 overclock. should be beter after paste is cured (in 2 weeks) there is some strange deference on 4th core. it usually goes 5-8 degrees higher .

The Phanteks PH-F140 fans are 78cfm fans, even though they are 140mm fans they have 120mm fan mounting points and the clips will mount and secure a 120mm cooling fan.

If you want to further improve your cooling performance replace the 2 PH-F140s, with 2 of these Scythe 120mm 1900rpm 110cfm cooling fans, you won't be disappointed.
