Hi,
First time building a computer and a ran into some issues. To begin with, motherboard would light up when I powered the psu but nothing else would activate. So I brought the computer to Geek Squad at Bestbuy and it turned out to be minor issue with the cables that hook up the motherboard and front casing. They plugged it into a monitor and everything worked. Computer booted into motherboard screen.
However, as soon as I got home I plugged my monitor to the computer and received no signal. The monitor works for my other computer. Its just weird that it worked for the Geek Squad guy but isn't working for me. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I tried switching the ram to different slots but that didn't work. Then I pulled out the video card and reinstalled it. Still no luck. I briefly had the bios screen show up after reinserting the cord that connects the psu to the slot that is right above the cpu. But when I moved the computer to my living room it showed no signal. Reinserting the cord didn't help.

I should have posted my specs first. Sorry.

you have the 24 pins atx in then the 4 pins one on the top left side in after the psu fan goes in the center slot fan connector use you motherboard manual page 1-6 and make shure all connector are seated in the board .also seen that board have 2 pci-e slot try with the gpu in the second slot .

I quadrupled checked all the connections. Everything is where it should be. I also tried the second pci-e slot but that didn't work either.

I found a computer repair shop that will run a diagnostic for 30 dollars. Bestbuy charges 70 dollars lol. I'm just tired of messing with it. After many obsessive hours of research with no solutions Im just burnt out. I need a definitive answer. Will probably bring it in tomorrow. I'll post the results.
