You take that 6+2 PIN and put it in the 6x power slot, there should be a 8pin power cable.

I'll put the 6-pin into the 6-pin slot and the 2-pin auxiliary alone in the 8-pin slot? Or just the 6-pin slot?

No the 6 pin will go into the 6 pin, you NEED the 8 pin to go into the 8 pin slot. Most PSU's have this, is it being occupied by something else?

No it isn't occupied but my psu don't have any 8-pin cable only 2 with 6-pin, is there any possibility that it is either a 6-pin connection or 8-pin connection?

Are the 6 pin 6+2 pins ? Also can you tell me what PSU you have?

Whatever Corsair PSU you have it will have 2 "6+2" PCI-E leads: http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.... fifth set down, right hand photo.
To connect: Use one lead in the 6-pin socket and push the little 2-pin part to one side. Use the second lead in the 8-pin socket but hold the 6 and 2 pin parts together, then insert them, as one piece, into the 8 pin socket.
