Cooler master v6 GT not keeping CPU cool enough

I'm running a intel i5 3470 at stock speed with a cooler master v6 gt but when i run intel burn test the temperatures of the CPU get to 60 C. I was just wondering if it is normal because I expected the cooler to keep the CPU cooler. The cooler is mounted properly and I used Arctic MX-4 Thermal grease, that I applied in a thin layer with a credit card.

If that's 60c at a consistent 100% load, not a bad temperature, so it's doing its job right.
  2. Yeah 60' isnt too bad for intel burn test. IBT will make the temperature much higher than you would see in games.

I prefer to apply thermal paste as a pea size dot in the middle, and let the heatsink push it into the gaps. The credit card method can be tricky to get right.
