I am starting to purchase all my games, etc online and I wanted to get some tipps as far as where you all buy your games - best prices, doesnt matter if they are used or not, and how you pay for them - what is the best online payment method? best meaning safest, easiest, etc.

STEAM! They have sales going on every single day. Got the whole GTA franchise for $12 awhile back. They had L4D2 for ~$7 a few days ago. At this moment they have a bundle deal for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon & Call of Juarez: Gunslinger; $12.49 for both.

Steam is the main service everyone uses. There are places to buy Steam codes for games too like Green Man Gaming and GamersGate. Origin is EA's service however and is required for many of their games. I use my credit card but Paypal works good too.

i have to agree, steam is the way to go. i never had any prob on there, it is really the best service/platform ut there.
i always pay with paysafecard, which is a prepaid card cause i consider that way the safest. But you can pay with Paypal, creditcard, ..., steam offers a lot of different payment options. Go and take a look on their hp, they have all the info you need on there.

Hey Sarge - no worries - lol! ;)
HI HI KristianAA - in the last couple of weeks I have actually started buying games! hahaha
SOOO COOL - LOVE IT! I realized they accepted the paysafecard so I just used that to pay - very practical! ;P
Thanks so much for all your suggestions and help!

Ya steam is pretty cool, but I would also tell you to check out humblebundle they have a weekly deal of 5 games and you get to choose how much to pay for them and if you pay they "average price" then you get 2 additional games and you get to decide how much goes to charity. They have mostly indie games (good ones) but every once in a while you will see some "mainstream" games.

Do you have any idea if they accept the paysafecard as a payment method? I only do prepaid...
@Jaguarskx I am assuming this is a C2C type site... so PP probably dominates.

i find steam to be the best service, but at times a little expensive... you can get better deals for steam games around the web..
you should sign up for the humble bundle newsletter, they have amazing bundles!
i use paypal wherever i can, but credit card works fine too :)
