Hi guys bought a a new motherboard (Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2PT) and i also got a ram (Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB(CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)) which did not work :( (http://). Some one suggested me to underclock it to compatible frequency :heink: but i have no idea how to i tried but still no idea.

Now i'm planning to take a new one of 4 GB the issue is again there are so may out there (Dual channel, single channel, xmp profile ). Since i have learned my lesson i dont and can't mess up this time. I'm looking for a expert help of what is best of out there and that works on my motherboard.

Intel E4500 Core 2 Duo @2.2 GHz 1333Mhz
Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2PT

If you want any other technical data please ask. I use my system to run analysis and simulation software like ANSYS, NASTRAN, creo elements. and yes i game too.

No my pc dose not boot and the above mentioned ram is the only one i have on the board. the only thing i notice is cpu fan and system fan start running and they stop running and again they start running this goes on. While on the other hand when i take this one out and place a different one ( a 1333MHz one 4 gb ddr3 ). My pc boots and functions normal.

I have reported this to the vendor and he agreed to take it back (30 days replacement something). Now i'm back to square one i need to buy a new ram and i have the two following on my mind
G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-10666CL9S-4GBXL)
and
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 4 GB Desktop RAM (CMX4GX3M1A1333C9) {this is 18$ less}

If you know any better one do let me know.

Hey Tradesmen1 i recently found out the corair rams are high density rams and my mobo only supports low density rams it seems. Since, the both the rams corsair vengeance (1600 MHz) and corsair xms3 (1333 MHz ) are of high density they arent working while on the other hand Adata ram i have tried is of low density its working fine.

Or somehow i might have got the two noon working rams.

So, can you suggest me a low density ram form a reliable company is Adata ok ?
If preferable i wanna go with transcend and my source of buying products is from (http://www.flipkart.com/computers/components). I'm awaiting for you response.
