780ti.

Too many issues with the 290/280 cards. Heating, throttling etc etc.

This is my second question regarding 290, the reason why is because most of my threads I post either get no responses or the answers are disatisfactory.

I'm still not convinced by the 780, it's £100 more! I HATE companies that overprice their products like this.

Also some of the specs need more clarification.
I understand the R9 has a 500 bit memory bus whilst the GTX 780 has 380. Wouldn't the R9 be more of an advantage on eyefinity? Or is the 380 bit more than enough?

Also you hate me because in a horrible person.

Keep it to one thread, your other threads have many answer. Ask in the original if you don't mind.

I don't hate you. I just try to help the mods where I can.

Okay, sorry I realised that the threads get pushed back up when a new comment is placed.
I will go and delete my last thread (if I can) when I'm back on my PC.

Would the 780 memory bus be "more than enough"

you be 100% fine with a 780 lol... i play that resolution with one 4gb 680 and it maxs almost everything still. bf4 i have to turn AA off and ill get 60-80fps.

Yes you may max current games, but what about games 3 years in advance? What would perform the best for the longest duration, especially how newer games are using more VRAM.

I'm starting to lean toward the R9 290 when non reference models. The 780 just seems overpriced for the performance, and I avoid companies that overcharge.
