Should I get a GTX 760 SLI with this build?

Hello there,

You can say i'm new to computer hardware. I was wondering if my setup can handle a gtx 760 sli?

My setup:

Cooler Master CM 690 II,
700 Watt Cooler Master PSU,
AMD Vishera FX-8350, Eight-Core,
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
12GB DDR3 ,
2000 GB SataIII HD,
Nvidia GTX 760 2GB,
(OS: Windows 8.1)

Since I have no additional cooling, i'm thinking about getting the Corsair Hydro h80i for my cpu.
Should I get extra fans, will my psu and system handle the 760 GTX sli?

Thanks,

if you plan on overclocking or adding something like a water cooler 750 probably would be playing it safe for sli, if you have room you should also consider the h100i which I've seen out perform the h80i which is still a fantastic cooler but not as good as the h100i. For the power supply just get what most people get for an sli build like a corsair. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040 700w is normally enough but I know amd and their fx processors take a lot of power.

If you're planning on an SLI build, I'm guessing you don't want to compromise on graphics that much at all. And for that reason, I'd say try and get 4GB versions if you can, I'm finding that with 2 2GB 760s that it's getting hammered in BF4 with regards to memory, gotta turn down some video settings just so it doesn't get the VRAM switching stutter (which is absolutely appalling). With newer games coming out I'm guessing it's only gonna get worse.

Just my 2 cents coming from experience.

To answer your question though, 750W is more than enough, I run on a 650w Bronze rated PSU and there's enough headroom to OC the CPU and the cards, by a decent margin as well.

Forget to mention, I play on two monitors:

1900 x 1080 (main) and 1680 x 1050.

For gaming I disable the second monitor.

I play BF4 with a single GTX 760 and it runs quite well on ultra (first had some issues with driver). Thanks for the fast response!
