Hello,
I'm planning out my first PC build and I was wondering what would be the best PSU Wattage, Brand and series to use for the following components.

Note: I already have my GPU, CPU and RAM.

The Components for my build are;

>> Intel i7 4770K

>> Sapphire Tech Radeon 7950

>> (x2) Corsair Vengance 4GB 1833 MHz RAM

>> Thermaltake Water Extreme3.0 CPU Cooler

>> ASUS Pro ATX motherboard

>> Thermaltake Level 10 GT case

>> Samsung Pro 256GB SSD

>> (x2) WD 500GB Black Series

More about : recommended psu build

Anything 850+ Gold Certified. This will leave you with room to Crossfire/SLI later on, I personally don't tell specific make/model because I'm bias for Cooler Master PSU. I suggest you find a company you trust with a good warranty.

Is there anything to be said for PSU noise, reliability, decent cable quality and temps?

Well all those are good reasons read PSU reviews like on Newegg. Almost all PSU that are gold certified have quality shielded cabling.

Things you need to decide.

How many watts (for the current build, and for future upgrades) ?

I say 850w or more Gold or Platinum certified.

Non modular cabling or Modular or Fully Modular?

Personal choice, I would say at least Modular if to maximize the air flow in your case.

Warranty?

Example Cooler Master only has a 2 year warranty VS XFX has a 5 year. But I made the personal choice to go Cooler Master but I also bought at 1300w PSU.

Thinking of getting the Corsiar AXi 850Watt. It'd be nice to get the Corsiar Link software and from what the spces and reviews have to say it oulght to be one of the best PSUs around. I'm not going for anything that isn't at least Modular or Fully modular.
