Do I need a new PSU?

I recently purchased a Gigabyte Radeon HD 7750. Previously I owned an Nvidia GT 440 so I uninstalled those drivers, put my new card in, and nothing. Just a black screen, can't access the BIOS, nothing. I believe it might be my PSU since it exploded in the review I read. If not, what else could it be? My PSU is a Hunt key Green power 550W.

That's a bad bad bad psu. However sufficient to power a 7750!
Check all the display cables first. Are they properly connected?

Everything is connected properly. The card fits nicely into the PCI slot and everything.

Perfectly. If I put it back there isn't a problem. Will reinstalling my OS fix the problem?

The 7750 should work fine as the GT 440 and the 7750 has the same power requirements. I bet the card is at fault.

I hope not. Would disabling and uninstalling the integrated graphics perhaps help?

You have not disabled the integrated graphics?? You should do that first! Then install the card, and report back.

Updating the BIOS seemed to work. Currently installing drivers for the card now. Thanks for the help anyway, man. :)
