Radiator Placement Issues

I bought a Corsair H60 for my CM Elite 130.

The normal configuration of having the pipes come out the bottom of the radiator won't work, it's too tall in that instance. I can make the radiator fit if I rotate it on its side. My question is, will this have any adverse effects on the cooling? Do I risk damaging the H60 or worse, my system?

Thanks.

I used the H60 due to space restrictions above the CPU. I couldn't find a low-profile cooler that would fit.

I've been reading about air inside the cooling loop of some of these coolers and I worry about that affecting this if it has some in it. I guess I'll have to rev her up and see.

No, you failed to read the thread. He is using a Coolermaster Elite 130 case. NONE of the coolers you listed fit.

Only VERY low profile air coolers fit and the h60 is actually a better idea. Normally a Coolermaster hyper 212 evo is a better option but in this case, the h60 will be the way to go.

Then V6 GT. cheaper and low profile too ?

An option, but it is more expensive and I don't think OP plans to overclock much at all.

NO. It is BIGGER than a Hyper 212 evo. Please look at the case OP is using.

too small case for any after market cooler....:(

Closed loop coolers which use a single 120mm radiator with a SINGLE fan fit just fine.
