Hey everyone, I was considering building a mid range PC and based in the budget Ive decided on :-
Intel i3 3220 3.3 GHz
Zotac nvidia gtx 650 "non ti" amp edition 2GB
4GB 1333 Corsair DDR3 RAM
Cooler master 500w PSU
..
Now the first portion of my question is how well can I run games such as Battlefield 4 and Crysis 3 in Full HD/HD accordingly..
Furthermore I really want to shift to PC gaming, but what I'm concerned about is wheather The build in question would be sufficient for 2 more years, and if it isn't should I just go ahed and buy a PS4 like everyone else

Solution
Honestly, that build won't do BF4 at full HD, and won't even come close to lasting 2 years.

That video card does about 17fps at full HD in BF4

If the video card wasn't limiting you, which it would, the cpu is still pretty low for a gaming pc.

I would either, A, save up some money and get a better PC that can handle the games you want, or B, go console.

Good quality, low cost Pc gaming isn't really an option.

Wow that really puts things into perspective, but are 500$ builds really that obsolete, that I can't run battlefield 4 on medium 720p and manage a decent 35 fps avg?
