I bought Club 3d Amd Radeon R9 270x royalQueen http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/products/reader.en/product/radeon-r9-270x-royalqueen.html
and XFX 550W PRO Core Edition ATX- power supply 80+ Bronze.

processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2310 CPU @ 2.90Ghz
6GB installed ram
(Old video card ) Nvidia gt 520)
Windows 8.1
Im using VGA cabel with DVI adapter.

Im not getting any singal to my screen.
i have allmost tried everything.
i have checkked my Cabels five times, unistalled my current video card from device manager and unistalled nvidia programs, tried to remove rams 1 by 1 and i have my 24 & 4 pin plugged in and 2x6pin plugged in to my video card and everything else plugged in but im not sure about 8pin since i dont have any place for it ?

Video card works good expect that it aint giving any singals and when i start my computer im not getting any "peep" sounds.

i haven't managed to get to bios since im just couple weeks ago installed windows 8.1

the radeon video card requires 8Gb ram and i only have 6GB
(i dont have others computer to try that video card)

Could comebody help me to get my video card working (If you need more info just reply)

Hello... what type of connections are on your monitor? you need to get rid of any VGA convertors/adaptors and use a straight HDMI or DVI cable, for best trouble shooting results... set your monitor for that input... Check your local computer re-cycling store for best prices on a cable if you do not have one.

Hi
Let`s go light here .....
What DVI adapter are you using - the on from the old VGA ?
Change it - maybe you have one in the ne card box

Double check the GPU PCE power connectors
What power connectors you GPU have ?

WHat is you Mobo ?
Poste model and revision

There is no RAM minimum limit in order you GPU to work ...........

I assume that you system is OK with the old GPU but NOT when you add the new one ?

well i also tried using HDMI Cabel and where i found what kind of type connections my monitor has ?
what for Check your local computer re-cycling store for best prices on a cabel ? could it be that i dont have enough ram for that video card which requires 8GB and i have 6gb ?

Hello... you look on the back of your monitor for physical connection options...
attach a DVI or a HDMI from your card to your Monitor...
Push your buttons on your monitor for an option for that type of connection and cable, select and enter it... restart your computer and what is the results?
DID YOU HOOK UP BOTH Power Connectors, on the back of your new video card, to your POWER SUPPLY first?
