I reset my motorola 6580 to factory settings and now I have no internet

I was having a problem with my TiVo connecting to the internet..and after days and hours of TiVo service I decided to reset my Motorola 6580 to factory settings after that I lost all internet connectivity. Comcast is no help I asked them to treat the modem as a new install and they said there would be a fee and recommended a service call (another fee) Luckily I still had my old modem..anyone know a fix to this?

You will need to provide more information on what your settings were prior to the factory reset.

Are all devices automatically obtaining IP addresses, what was the old gateway address and is that the same as the new gateway?

Do you have a copy of your router manual, if not download a copy.
